In this story, the reporter did a good job of getting an interview with the woman who was acting crazy which was very intriguing to watch. She didn't give very good responses, but it was still inr=teresting to watch because often times people don't get an interview with a crazy person it usually like someone that witnessed it so that was cool to watch. I think they did a good job of getting good b-roll which is also surprising for a story that happened all at once with no news team. They did a good job filming everything and putting it together.

The reporter could've done a better job at making the sound work because it didn't at all when I played it at first because of the audio levels being so low. I had to turn my computer all the way up to hear it barely and then a commercial would come on and it was blaring loud so I think that the editor should fix that now. That was the only issue I saw with the story It could've given more background about the woman, but it isn't what the viewer clicked on to watch so its not as important.

I will try to use the variety of b-roll that they used in this and just thinking creatively enough to get the interviews and the b roll similar to this story. It definitely added a great piece to he story by being able to see what the woman had to say and the footage from the passenger that was a witness to all of it.

I like my video because the story line makes sense and has a problem and solution and all that. I like how it has a dog rather than a human because you can still tell what the dog is thinking and what he is trying to do. I like how the dog has a lot of detail to him and ow he wasn't just squares and rectangles. On the other hand, i don't like how there isn't much going on. I don't like how the sounds don't matches well as they could've. I think if they had more sound effects to go with it, then it would be better. I tired to get the best sound that matched possible, but there wasn't very many that went with the dog theme. I also don't like how its so short. I think the message gets across, but i also think it could have more.

               My logo is a diamond with a banner over it. I chose to use a diamond and a banner to show sophistication and make it look modern. I used all sharp lines and shapes that helped showed the sophistication.  For my colors I chose to do an accented neutral color scheme just to make the accent really show a lot. The gray against the purple makes the purple l the point of emphasis.  For my fonts I wanted something with sharp edges to keep it throughout the whole  theme.  I liked this font because it seemed modern and up to date.

http://www.kmbc.com/article/mother-faces-felony-charge-after-using-recorder-to-thwart-school-bullies/13946697 In this story, the reporter did a good job with getting a very in depth interview with the mother and it really showed a lot of emotion and helped tie the story together. I think this is good because instead of the reporter saying everything, the mom was able to share her thoughts and feelings with the reporter as the main person involved, rather than hearing it from another person.  I think the audio for this story was a little messed up because during the interview the moms audio is on the right while the reporters audio is on the left and it is not balanced.  I think this is a good example of asking the harder questions and getting the better answers because the reporter didn't have to say as much. I will definitely keep that in mind when interviewing people over something they're passionate about.
